Kicker Sound Bar & Sub Mounting Bracket Kit – Soft Top Military HMMWV

If you have a soft top HMMWV and a Kicker audio system, this is the mounting solution you’ve been looking for — and the only one we trust in our own Black Dog Shop.

This bracket kit was designed from the ground up to fit any soft top military HMMWV, mounting your Kicker RMS KPB2 35” sound bar and Kicker RMS HS10 10” subwoofer cleanly and securely between the B and C pillars. The sub bracket is cut from 3/16” aluminum — thick enough to handle the weight and vibration of real off-road use without flexing, rattling, or giving out on you in the field.

One of the biggest headaches with a soft top build is keeping your gear protected. Rain, mud, and trail debris go everywhere, and a subwoofer sitting on the floor is just asking for trouble. This kit solves that by lifting the sub up and out of the way, keeping it clear of the weather and freeing up valuable floor space in the process. The sound bar mounts high and out of the way as well, giving you clean audio without cluttering your cab.

Installation uses a rivnut gun — an inexpensive tool that’s easy to pick up on Amazon if you don’t already have one. And to make sure the job gets done right, every kit ships with detailed installation instructions walking you through the entire process step by step. No guesswork, no head-scratching — just a clean, solid install.
